Aputure MT Pro RGBW Light Tube

This guide outlines the essential operational settings to configure the Aputure MT Pro LED Tube Light for professional film, video, and creative lighting setups. Utilizing these settings ensures accurate color temperature rendering, high pixel-density effects control, and seamless Sidus Link integration.

1. Power Initialization & CCT Mode Setup

Before switching to creative color or pixel modes, calibrate your primary white light key or fill output under the standard CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) menu.

Ultra-Wide White Light Tuning

Navigate to: Power On → Control Wheel Click → CCT Mode

  • Color Temperature Range: 2000K to 10000K (Expanded range for extreme warm tungsten to cool daylight).
  • Green-Magenta Adjustment: -1.0G to +1.0G (Fine-tune tint to match surrounding light fixtures).
  • Brightness Control: 0.0% to 100% (Stepless dimming down to 0.1% for precise low-light control).
  • Accessibility Note: High SSI and CRI/TLCI (95+) ratings ensure exact skin-tone reproduction and reduce post-production color correction overhead.

2. Advanced RGBWW & HSI Spectrum Control

Navigate to: Main Menu → HSI / RGB / XY Mode

Use advanced color modes for stylized background washes, hair lighting, or precise color space matching:

Hue, Saturation, & Color Coordinates

  • HSI Mode: Full 0° to 360° hue wheel selection with 0% to 100% saturation control.
  • xy Coordinates: Match industry-standard CIE 1931 color spaces for precise gel and LED panel matching.
  • RGB Mode: Direct control over Red, Green, and Blue sub-pixel output values.

3. Pixel FX & System Lighting Presets

Navigate to: Main Menu → System FX / Pixel FX

  • System FX: Standard cinematic presets including Paparazzi, Lightning, TV, Fire, and Faulty Bulb.
  • Pixel FX: Multi-pixel animations across the 36 RGB light engines, including Color Chase, Pixel Chase, Rainbow, and Fire Pixel.
  • Effect Parameters: Adjust rate, color, and direction for multi-channel animation synchronization.

4. Sidus Link App, CRMX & Wireless Control

Navigate to: Main Menu → Wireless Settings → Bluetooth / CRMX
