1. Initial Setup and Preparation

  1. Charge the Unit: Connect the included micro-USB cable to the projector’s power input and a 5V power supply. Wait for all power indicator lights to remain steadily illuminated.
  2. Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the status light turns on and the main menu screen is projected.
  3. Adjust Focus: Rotate the analog Focus Wheel located on the side of the device until the projected image appears sharp and clear.

2. Connecting Mobile Phones Wirelessly

Screen mirroring via Wi-Fi allows non-copyrighted media to be cast wirelessly. Navigate to the Wireless option on the projector’s main menu to display the network name (SSID) and default password.

iOS (iPhone) Wireless Setup

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone and select Wi-Fi.
  2. Select the network name starting with KODAK-XXXXXX or PRO-XXXXXX.
  3. Enter the network password: 12345678.
  4. Swipe down from the top-right corner to open the iOS Control Center.
  5. Tap the Screen Mirroring icon and choose the projector from the list.

Android Wireless Setup

  1. Open your device’s Wi-Fi Settings and connect to the projector’s hotspot (e.g., PRO-XXXXXX) using the password 12345678.
  2. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notification panel.
  3. Tap the screen cast icon (labeled Smart View, Cast, or Screen Mirroring depending on manufacturer).
  4. Select the Kodak Luma 150 projector from the device list.

3. Connecting Mobile Phones via Cable (Recommended for Streaming Apps)

To stream DRM-protected content (such as Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+), use a wired HDMI adapter.

  • For iOS Devices: Connect an official Lightning-to-HDMI adapter or USB-C-to-HDMI adapter to your iPhone, attach an HDMI cable from the adapter into the projector’s HDMI input port, and select HDMI from the projector menu.
  • For Android Devices: Connect a USB-C to HDMI adapter or dedicated USB-C to HDMI cable directly into the projector’s HDMI port.
